How to Make a Darth Vader Cake

A cake.

A Darth Vader cake.

You’re kidding, right?

I must have been hiding under a rock for quite some time.

If you’re like me – my guess is you are – and you’ve been babbling around the Star Wars universe for a while, you’re probably wondering how to make one.

I find it actually pretty cool and to think it got probably eaten too!

I’ve seen many Star Wars items. Some unusual. Some pretty interesting. Heck, I have an R2-D2 workable phone at home. It’s still working. I’ll talk about it in a future post.

Still, I love it when I come across original stuff.

And to boot, it’s Darth Vader!

So, as I was wandering around the interwebs for a great video of how to make a Darth Vader cake, I found this one on Youtube.

It lasts 7:04 minutes with cool Star Wars music for better enjoyment. I’ve seen other videos but they weren’t that entertaining. The background music was annoying, or there was none. And the video wasn’t professionally shot, meaning you can tell it was done only for fun.

The video is in accelerated mode so you don’t fall asleep while watching it! Comments by Cindy, the girl making the cake, often appear as well for further details about how to sculpt the cake or to give advice, like freezing the cake before carving it or making cake pops with the rest of the cake you cut out.

Patience, a creative touch and a steady hand will be required to create this cake.

Careful, don’t give in to hate though….it will only lead you to the Dark Side of the Force….

Or you’ll probably just end up eating it! Lol

P.S.: If you happen to bake one, take a pic before eating your cake and post it in your favorite social media channel. Your friends and family will be amazed with your talent!

And who knows, you could even shoot your own video and show everyone how to make a Darth Vader cake.

Heat those ovens!
