The third and final installment of the Star Wars prequels.
The one I like most of all the prequels. You know what will happen at the end of the movie. If you saw episodes 4 to 6, it’s kind of predictible actually.
There was a lot of buzz generated before the release of the movie. If you followed what was being said, you knew what the ending would be.
But in the end, it’s totally worth the watch!
You visually see how one of the coolest movie villains of all time come into existence.
The dark side of the Force seduces Anakin. He is offered power even the Jedi order can’t offer.
Maybe I’d done the same, given the options and seeing what the future would bring. Don’t know.
Well, it only happens in a galaxy, far, far away…right?
Besides seeing the transformation of Anakin, we get to see plenty of Jedi vs Sith lightsaber duels. And boy, did M. Lucas ever crank it up a couple of notches!
Force lightning, force pushes, lightsaber wielding – with different colored ones may I had – flying objects due to force pushes, jumping Sith/Jedi and overall bad ass duels!
In my opinion, they are in the top greatest duels of the whole Star Wars universe.
Once more heavy use of CGI effects either heighten or lessen movie scenes. The opening scene is one of the best ones in the whole saga. A full scale space battle erupts and laser shots are fired everywhere, ships are destroyed and plenty of perilous flying maneuvers abound.
Here’s the story of Revenge of the Sith:
It’s been three years since the Clone Wars started.
A war is raging pitting the clone army versus the Confederacy of Independent Systems.
Master Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi goes after the supposed leader of the Confederacy, General Grievous, a mechanized humanoid specialized in the killing of Jedi Knights.
A terrible truth surrounding Supreme Chancellor Palpatine forces is arrest by the Jedi order.
An atrocious fate awaits the Jedi and a grand finale pits Obi-Wan Kenobi against his former apprentice, Anakin Skywalker.
A new lord of the Sith rises and the first Galactic Empire is born, thus ending the reign of the Galactic Republic.
